In the last 3+ years we have had the privilege of getting a sweat in with some pretty amazing people. We pride ourselves on putting in work with the individuals whom support us and we wouldn't have it any other way.
We recently had an opportunity to get in a lift with a new friend and wholesale partner located in New Jersey on the way to an engagement in Philly. If you're not familiar with Annex Sports Performance, do yourself a favor and check them out HERE.
Mickey (pictured with Brendan above) is the owner and as knowledgeable as they come. As a former top prospect pitcher with two Tommy John surgeries under his belt, he understands the demands on athletes and how to bounce back from injury.
Below is the workout we crushed together:
Med ball throws 3x8 reps per side
KB Single Arm Carries 3x30 yards per side
Box Jumps 3x5 reps
Trap Bar Deadlifts 4x6 reps
KB Swings 4x12 reps
Push-ups (3/3/3 tempo) 3x8 reps
KB Reverse Lunges on slide board 3x8 reps per side
TRX Rows 3x12 reps
It truly was a pleasure grinding it out with Mickey and we can't wait to do it again soon.
Only because it looks badass and we often receive questions about how Pedestals hold up on turf, below is a video of Mickey pushing 400+ pounds in his Pedestals. He said in an email to us, "I'm amazed how my feet didn't slip at all on the turf."
Visiting our friends and partners is our favorite part of what we do. If you would like us to come crush a lift please reach out to us on social or at email@example.com.
We are putting together our 2018 Pedestal Tour and we would love for your facility to be on the agenda.
